506 Lighthouse Mall is situated in the heart of the Umhlanga Village and within 200 meters of the main swimming beach in Umhlanga Rocks, on the fifth floor of Lighthouse Mall.

This luxury self catering apartment consists of a lounge, dining area and a fully fitted modern kitchen. There are two double bedrooms, both with their own bathrooms. The apartment can comfortably sleep four people with a King-size bed in the main bedroom and twin beds in the second bedroom (which can be converted to king size on request). Quality linen and bath towels are provided.

Off the lounge are sliding doors onto the patio with views of the sea. Sit on the patio and listen to the sounds of the ocean whilst enjoying your sundowners or that cup of coffee in the morning. A gas Weber braai (barbeque) is provided on the patio. The modern kitchen has granite tops and is beautifully appointed and fully equipped. There is also a microwave oven, under counter oven and hob as well as a washing machine and tumble dryer. FREE Wi-Fi internet access is provided.

The apartment has satellite TV (DSTV) as well as a DVD player. There are ceiling fans in the apartment. The apartment is serviced daily except on Sundays and public holidays. Secure double undercover parking is provided for your vehicles. Please note that this apartment is not suitable for young children.

506 Lighthouse Mall is in the heart of the Umhlanga Village. There are numerous hotels in the immediate vicinity where children can enjoy ten pin bowling, game arcades etc. Enjoy a walk along the 5 kilometre Promenade on the beach or a stroll along the nature trail through the Hawaan Forest. There are several family and up market restaurants in the village centre.

506 Lighthouse Mall is so ideally situated, one can virtually park your car at the beginning of your holiday and have no need to use it again for your entire stay. 506 Lighthouse Mall is a five minute drive from Gateway, (the largest shopping centre in the Southern Hemisphere), twenty minutes drive from Durban, the International Conference Centre (I. C. C.) and U Shaka Marine World. King Shaka International Airport is a fifteen minute drive from Umhlanga Rocks. There are several fine restaurants in the village or at Gateway Shopping Centre. A private first world hospital is a five minutes drive away by car. There are several world class golf courses in the immediate vicinity including the prestigious Mount Edgecombe and Zimbali courses.

Umhlanga Rocks is one of the most sought after holiday resorts in South Africa whilst still retaining its unique seaside village feel. The world heritage site of Lake St Lucia, the Umfolozi / Hluhluwe Game Parks and the majestic Drakensberg Mountains are all within easy reach from Umhlanga Rocks.

Cancellation Policy:
- The maximum occupancy of four persons in the unit (4 persons) must not be exceeded under any circumstances. Failure to adhere to this will result in the extra people having to move out with immediate effect, or the booking will be cancelled and no refund given.
- Under no circumstance do we allow students or bookings where all persons are under the age of 25.
- The apartment is serviced daily except on Sundays and Public Holidays

GENERAL CONDITIONS:
- To avoid any misunderstanding, a booking constitutes a binding contract. All guests confirming a booking are advised to take out insurance to cover the full cost of their accommodation in the event of a cancellation. We will seek compensation for any cancelled accommodation that cannot be re-let, including premature curtailment.
- Check in time is from 2pm until 7pm. Late check-ins to be arranged prior to arrival. Check-ins after 9pm will incur a surcharge of R200,00.
- Accommodation will be automatically cancelled if the deposit is not received by the due date.
- Deposits are not refundable in the event of a cancellation or “non arrival”.

The Terms and Conditions of this booking are deemed as being accepted on receipt of the deposit / credit card details.

Directions:

Heading North on the N2:
Take the M41 off-ramp (Exit 181)(Umhlanga / Mount Edgecombe / Phoenix North). Turn right (over the freeway) and continue for approximately 1 km, passing Gateway Shopping Centre on your left. Take the M12 (Umhlanga Rocks Drive) off-ramp and continue north passing McDonalds and Umhlanga Hospital on your left. After passing under the Millenium Bridge take the M12 (Umhlanga Rocks Drive) off ramp and continue north passing McDonalds & Umhlanga Hospital on your left. At the next traffic circle continue down Umhlanga Rocks Drive heading towards the sea. Proceed over four sets of traffic lights. At the stop street (Caltex Garage on your right), turn right. Approximately 200m on your right there is an automatic gate which opens into the underground garage.

Heading south on the N2 from King Shaka International Airport:
Take the M41 off ramp (Exit 181) (Umhlanga / Mount Edgecombe / Phoenix North). At the traffic lights turn left onto the M41 and continue for about 1 km, passing Gateway Shopping Centre on your left. After passing under the Millenium Bridge take the M12 (Umhlanga Rocks Drive) off ramp and continue north passing McDonalds & Umhlanga Hospital on your left. At the next traffic circle continue down Umhlanga Rocks Drive heading towards the sea. Proceed over four sets of traffic lights. At the stop street (Caltex Garage on your right), turn right. Approximately 200m on your right there is an automatic gate which opens into the underground garage.

Heading North on the M4:
Take the Umhlanga Rocks turn off. At the traffic lights turn right over the bridge (over the freeway). Proceed over three sets of traffic lights. At the stop street (Caltex Garage on your right), turn right. Approximately 200m on your right there is an automatic gate which opens into the underground garage
