Each of the Rooms at 36 on Kaneel, has been individually decorated, taking inspiration from 1 of the 5 National Symbols of South Africa. Each room provides guests with the perfect oasis from everyday life.
With free wifi in all rooms, it is the ideal accommodation option for anyone travelling for Business and is conveniently located close to several Corporate Head Offices, based in Stellenbosch. 36 on Kaneel is the perfect option for parents visiting their children who are staying in Res, or alternatively parents visiting their children studying at the University of Stellenbosch.
The 5 en-suite Bedroom Units with each a private small lounge area, are all located upstairs where entry is through your own private entrance door.
We have used our inspiration for decor from our national bird, tree, fish, flower and antelope. So each unit is decorated according to a theme.
The downstairs Units consist of 1 Large En-suite King Size Bedroom and 3 separate Queen Size Bedrooms each with its own private bathroom and exit doors that leads out onto the outside area.
It has a undercover BBQ area for guests. The upstairs Unit has 2 patio’s that are communal. One with a undercover BBQ area and one that is open with enough seating space for 10 guests.
Both units have a communal kitchen that is fully equipped to make your own gourmet meals if you wish. There is a large communal lounge area with entertainment equipment.
The Villa is situated in a very charming residential area which is close to 5 different schools, a shopping mall and our Medi Clinic Orthopedic Hospital. It is also close to the R44 for easy access to Cape Town and Gordons Bay (Beach Areas) as well as the Airport.
Once you cross over the R44 you will have access to a river path leading you all the way into town and the Coetzenburg (outside sports facilities) area.

Hiking in the mountains is very popular as well as wine tasting in the area. We have several prominent wine farms that you can visit for a day of wine tasting and exquisite dining.
Upstairs Units are Private Suites equipped with a writing desk and Flat Screen Smart television.
They all have a small private lounge or seating area for 2.
The small lounge consists of Coffee & Tea Facilities as well as a bar fridge to keep drinks cool.
