1 on Ross

1 on Ross consists of three cottages nestled in a quiet cul-de-sac just off Henry Road. It has a beautiful garden which featured in the Gardens of Grahamstown show, pool and offers braai facilities.

The Flatlet is up a short flight of stairs and consists of a separate carpeted bedroom with a King-size bed (or twin beds) and a separate full bathroom. There is comfortable lounge seating which opens out into a double-sleeper couch and a separate single bed is available in the lounge area. A well-equipped kitchenette with hob, oven, full fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, etc. offers a self-catering option. Air-conditioners in the lounge and bedroom, heaters and electric blankets are available.

The Cottage offers its own private garden. It consists of a separate carpeted bedroom with queen bed and full bathroom. There is a king size sleeper couch (or two singles) in the lounge area. It is set up for semi-self-catering with a well-equipped kitchenette comprising bar fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, table and chairs, etc. Air con will keep you cool in summer plus heaters and electric blankets available for the chilly months.

The single unit offers fairly basic accommodation for a single person. It has a single bed, table with chair and small kitchenette with bar fridge and microwave oven. There is a bathroom with walk in shower and separate toilet. It is adjacent to the larger cottage and suitable for an extra adult or child.

Teas, coffee, milk and a choice of 3 cereals are provided. Breakfast is available in the cottages on request.

Guests are welcome to use the swimming pool and braai facilities. All units have DSTV on flat screen FHD televisions. Complimentary Wi-Fi internet is available. Serviced daily. Secure off-street parking with remote access is provided. Conveniently situated close to private schools and Rhodes University.

Accommodation at 1 On Ross:
The Flatlet is a stylish, fully self-catering unit with full fridge/freezer, hob, oven, kettle, toaster, microwave, etc. It is up a short flight of stairs and offers comfortable, spacious air conditioned accommodation. Full bathroom. Twin/king bed in the bedroom with plenty of cupboard space and sleeper couches for 2 extra guests.

The Cottage is a downstairs unit with a small private garden with seating at the back. This unit is semi-self catering with microwave, one induction plate stove, electric frying pan, full fridge, kettle, toaster, etc. Full bathroom. Queen bed in the bedroom and king size sleeper couch or two singles available in the lounge area.

Both the larger cottages are set up to enable parents to take their children out of boarding, spend the night on comfortable sleeper couches and prepare a favourite meal to enjoy together.

The Single Unit is ideal for overflow from the other two cottages or to cater for a single person. It has a single bed, desk, microwave, DSTV, bar fridge and fan/heater. Separate loo and large shower.
