The resort’s biggest attraction is its easy access to the park, one of the best places to go on a safari in South Africa. Various species of flora and fauna reside here, from lions and leopards to the interesting Kiwano fruit. But it doesn’t stop there. A number of facilities and services here such as pools and playgrounds prove that there’s so much more to the resort than just seeing the Big 5.
An abundance of wild life proliferate in 580 km of diverse and arresting bushveld terrain. The park is home to healthy populations of lion, leopard, black and white rhino, elephant and buffalo - Africa’s “Big Five”.
A wide variety of rare and common species exist with endemic species like the nocturnal brown hyena, the fleet-footed cheetah, the majestic sable, as well as giraffe, zebra, hippo and crocodile, to mention but a few.

Guests have several types of accommodation to choose from. For starters, they can stay at one of our Chalets, which are designed as proper brick-and-wood cottages that can house 2 to 4 guests. These boast of air-conditioning, refrigerator, private patio, TV, kitchenette, and more.
Those who want to strike the balance between a more authentic experience and comfort at our resort can choose a Safari Tent. Suitable for 2 guests, these are equipped with amenities such as electricity, refrigerator, coffee and tea-making facilities, and proper beds to sleep in.
Meanwhile, those who want to get closer to the wild outdoors can book one of our Caravan Sites or Campsites. These sites are an affordable option for those who are bringing their own tents or trailers inside the reserve. Regardless of type, all our accommodations in Pilanesberg have easy access to centrally located ablution facilities.

One of the best perks of staying at Manyane Resort in South Africa is the excellent location its right next to Pilanesberg National Park. To get here from Johannesburg, simply take the N4 towards Rustenburg and turn on the R556 heading to Sun City. Once you arrive at a 4-way stop, take the R510 towards Mogwase. Signs will then point the way to the Manyane Gate of Pilanesberg National Park, where the resort is located.
