Manyane Resort is nestled at the gateway to the
Pilanesberg National Park, set in un spoilt natural surroundings.
The Pilanesberg National Park consists of numerous hills, wooded ravines and grassed open plains, making the area very picturesque. A wide diversity of eco-types makes a beautiful home for a large variety of animals and birds.
The Park boasts healthy populations of lion, leopard, black and white rhino, elephant and buffalo - Africa's "Big Five". A wide variety of rare and common species exist with endemic species like the nocturnal brown hyaena, the fleet-footed cheetah, the majestic sable, as well as giraffe, zebra, hippo and crocodile, to mention but a few.
It is home to most of the species that inhabited the area in the late eighteenth century. One of the most advantageous aspects of Pilanesberg, is that it is situated within a malaria - free belt.
The thatched African styled chalets at Manyane are luxurious, with one or two bedrooms including a lounge, fully equipped kitchen and in certain Chalets an upstairs loft bedroom.
Superb conference facilities are available with personal service and attention to detail. Be it a small gathering or large affair our team of experts will assist you from the planning stages to executing a successful event.
Activities include bush golf, childrens playground, walk in aviary, self-guided or conducted game drives and a self-guided walking trails area.

Please Note a minimum stay of 2 nights is required over weekends.
4 Sleeper Chalets
The four sleeper chalets consist of a kitchen with the necessary utensils and one bathroom, a room with a double bed downstairs and 2 single beds in the upstairs loft area.
Chalets have air-conditioning and a private patio and braai area. The resort has a centrally situated pool and playground.
2 Bed Studio Rooms
Studio rooms consist of 1 bedroom with 2 single beds, bar fridge and bathroom with shower. The studio rooms does not have a kitchen area.
Safari Tents
Tent accommodates 2 pax only. Consists of 2 single beds, bedding is supplied, use central ablution facilities.
All the tents are electrified, with fridge and tea/coffee facility, no cutlery or cooking equipment supplied.
Camping
Requests for electrified sites are essential. Maximum of 6 people and 2 motor vehicles per site. Sites have centrally situated ablution facilities, as well as access to the restaurant, pool, playgrounds and on-site superrette.
Please supply own tent.
Manyane Resort does not offer self catering anymore, although accommodation is in self catering units. You can book on bed and breakfast and self cater for lunch and dinner.

* Day and Night Drives
Scheduled daily drives are available into the Pilanesberg National Park, which depart in the early mornings, afternoons and evenings. The objective of a night drive is to view the park's nocturnal wildlife.
* Hiking Trails
A general hiking trail where guests are exposed close-up, to the fauna and flora of the National Park by an experienced and accomplished guide. Minimum 6 people. No Children under 12 years of age.
* Game Drives & Bush Braai or Breakfast
Join us for a sunrise or sunset adventure for a bush braai or breakfast at a choice venue inside the park. Minimum 15 people

How to get there:
See Map Directions from Fourways, Sandton via Lanseria Airport
From Sandton travel north along William Nicol Drive to the four-way intersection with Witkoppen Road
Turn left into Witkoppen Road towards Lanseria/Roodepoort.
Turn right at the intersection with Hans Strijdom Extension on the road towards Broederstroom and Lanseria R512
Cross the bridge over the R28 Krugersdorp/Pretoria highway, pass the Lanseria turnoff and continue straight.
At the T-junction take the turn left on the R512 to Magaliesberg/Brits
Continue on this road until you see the Sun City sign board on your left.
Turn right onto the R512 to Brits and cross the bridge over Hartebeespoort Dam.
At the next T-junction turn right on the R512 to Brits. Follow the directional signs.
At the 4-way stop turn left to Rustenburg/Sun City.
At the signpost R27 Rustenburg/Brits turn right.
On the bridge turn left towards Rustenburg.
Continue to the slipway on the left, take slipway and continue on the N4 highway.
Now look out for the next turnoff to Sun City, Bapong and Majakaneng R556.
TAKE THIS TURN DO NOT PROCEED TO RUSTENBURG.
At the top of the off ramp turn right to Sun City/Bapong.
At the fourth 4-way stop turn right on the R510 (25km) to Mogwase.
Turn left at the sign posted Pilanesberg National Park.
At the second 4-way stop turn right to the Manyane Gate.
