Manyane Resort is nestled at the Gateway to the Pilanesberg Game Reserve. Set in unspoilt natural surroundings are thatched African-style chalets studded in a tapestry of indigenous flora.

Manyane Resort is nestled at the gateway to the Pilanesberg National Park, set in un spoilt natural surroundings.

The Pilanesberg National Park consists of numerous hills, wooded ravines and grassed open plains, making the area very picturesque. A wide diversity of eco-types makes a beautiful home for a large variety of animals and birds.

The Park boasts healthy populations of lion, leopard, black and white rhino, elephant and buffalo - Africa's "Big Five". A wide variety of rare and common species exist with endemic species like the nocturnal brown hyaena, the fleet-footed cheetah, the majestic sable, as well as giraffe, zebra, hippo and crocodile, to mention but a few.

It is home to most of the species that inhabited the area in the late eighteenth century. One of the most advantageous aspects of Pilanesberg, is that it is situated within a malaria - free belt.

The thatched African styled chalets at Manyane are luxurious, with one or two bedrooms including a lounge, fully equipped kitchen and in certain Chalets an upstairs loft bedroom.

Superb conference facilities are available with personal service and attention to detail. Be it a small gathering or large affair our team of experts will assist you from the planning stages to executing a successful event.

Activities include bush golf, children’s playground, walk in aviary, self-guided or conducted game drives and a self-guided walking trails area.

Manyane offers tranquility and relaxation.

Chalets
Chalets have bathrooms, air-conditioning and a private patio and braai area. The resort has a centrally situated pool and playground.

The following is available:

2 Bed Studio rooms (no kitchen) - Studio rooms consist of 1 bedroom with 2 single beds, bathroom, bar fridge and shower, coffee and tea making facilities.

4 Bed chalets - 1 Bedroom with a double bed and two single beds in the loft, kitchen and bathroom with shower cubicle. Open plan kitchen.

Safari Tents
The tents have patio area looking onto the bush, table plus chairs, electrified with plug-point, kettle, cupboard with crockery, 2 x 3/4 beds, a braai area and is served by communal ablutions. No fridge.

Meals are served at the restaurant.

Please Note a minimum stay of 2 nights is required over weekends.

Peak season rates apply to school holidays and public holidays.

Wildlife
An abundance of wild life proliferate in 580 km of diverse and arresting bushveld terrain. The park is home to healthy populations of lion, leopard, black and white rhino, elephant and buffalo - Africa's "Big Five".

Activities
Activities which can be booked at the resort include:

* Day and Night Drives
Scheduled daily drives are available into the Pilanesberg National Park, which depart in the early mornings, afternoons and evenings. The objective of a night drive is to view the park's nocturnal wildlife.

* Hiking Trails
A general hiking trail where guests are exposed close-up, to the fauna and flora of the National Park by an experienced and accomplished guide. Minimum 4 people. No Children under 12 years of age.

* Game Drives & Bush Braai or Breakfast
Join us for a sunrise or sunset adventure for a bush braai or breakfast at a choice venue inside the park. Minimum 15 people

* Balloon Safaris
* Quad Biking
* Clay Pigeon Shooting
* Archery
* Drumming
* Elephant Back Safari

How to get there See Map
From Johannesburg International Airport:
As you leave the Airport take the road to Pretoria – R21
As you near Pretoria take the N1 North to Polokwane
Now look out for and take the N4 West to Rustenburg
On this section of road you will pass 2 x toll gates.
Pass the turnoffs to Hartebeespoort, Brits & Randburg
Now look out for the next turnoff to Sun City, Bapong & Majakaneng – R556
TAKE THIS TURN – DO NOT PROCEED TO RUSTENBURG
At the top of the off ramp turn right to Sun City / Bapong.
Keep on this road for +/- 75km.
When you have less than 5km’s to go take the right turn towards Mogwase & Pilanesberg Airport.
Travel along this road to the Manyane Entrance Gate on your left.
