We were very satisfied with the booked accommodation. And we use the option that a chef cooked us the dinner.

Route information by road side should be advisable (signs by the road). Warm welcome on arrival. Housecleaning etc. very good. We should suggest introducing cooking facilities. Everyday cooking by the cooks or in the central kitchen is not very nice. Guide for bird safari (a woman) was not enthusiastic. It was a waste of time and money. The only vantage of a safari with a guide is that you are allowed to come in places not open for the other people.

Nice huts and very nice location. Next year, when the access road is ready, it will be a top location!

Musband an I only stayed two nights in Ndumo and wished we had stayed longer.
The bungalows are very nice and we saw a lot of animals in the park. Some roads inside the park were a bit difficult but the road to Ndumo was better than expected.
A very nice experience.

Chalets delightful, clean and tidy. They would be superb if each chalet had a loo and basin.

Bongani is an excellent guide for birders - knowledgeable, helpful, patient, friendly and a great asset to Ndumo. Walked 3 times with him as a guide.( His land cruiser was in for repairs, fortunately for us)

Office staff friendly but fairly incompetent and inexperienced, apart from Chris. Difficult to run the office efficiently because lines appear to be down often and staff have no idea who/ when visitors are arriving.

Please stress, underline in bold in your communication to prospective guests the need to take cash to pay for walks and tips. It would help too if the price of game drives and walks were listed in your confirmation letter so that sufficient funds could accompany each guest. We had to pool our resources because unable to use our credit cards.

Only 4 chalets and 2 campsites were occupied while we were there ( total of 12 people). If the camp were full, I hate to think how busy the ablution block would be. Four loos, 2 showers and 2 baths in the Ladies is grossly underspec for a full house of a possible 50 people. The men's ablution block has only 2 loos. The mind boggles at the queues which must arise.

Loved the Ezulweni Hide but wish there were more hides and access roads to other parts of Nyamithi Pan. Access to Banzi Dam would be a plus too.

Of greatest concern is the land invasion on the western side of the Pongola River. The devastation caused last week by the felling of huge stunningly beautiful trees by the land invaders is heartbreaking. A solution needs to be found soon that is a win-win for both parties, or I fear for the future of this magnificent part of our country which deserves to be saved for future generations.

Wonderful bungalows, in a camp on a perfect setting, although the ablution block needs some maintenance. Very kind people.

We had a lovely stay at Ndumo. The bookings
went smoothly and the staff was friendly
and cooperative. Zonder was a special tip-off
and we enjoyed his company and guidiance.
He showed us the Southern Banded snake eagle (imature), but unfortunately we will still have to spot the Fish Owl. So we will be back.

Ndumo Hutted Camp to us just seems to go that extra mile in making ones stay more pleasant than the other KZN Parks.

A very well run, spotless Game Reserve with friendly and knowlegable staff. We will be back! Would suggest that the huts have a shower and toilet added some time in the future but other than that only have praise.

Would be nice if the cottages could all have their own toilets and showers. Found it a hassle to walk to the loo every time.

The camp was beautiful, good roads, and comfortable accommodation. Cook very good. Only negative comment: Staff did not help in providing trolley to help off load vehicle on arrival.
Please warn visitors of terrible road from Jozini, for non 4x4 vehicles! We wrecked 3 tyres and will have to replace them.

We loved our stay in Ndumo. The huts are great, everything clean, nice and friendly staff, good guided walks. Only the gravel road to the camp is not comfortable!
