We stayed in one of the family cottages at Ndlovu Camp as a one night stopover. The accommodation was excellent and had everything we required, including very comfortable lounge furniture. Note that the entire camp operates on solar and gas, with paraffin lamps for lighting in the evening. The restaurant was impressive, the food of a good standard and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the traditional dance which they performed after dinner. It was wonderful to see 10 rhino at the waterhole adjoining the camp. We also saw elephant during a very short game drive which we took as we were leaving.
We would recommend Hlane RN Park and Ndlovu Camp as a worthwhile place to spend a relaxing couple of days or a stopover.

The staff was great ambassadors for the country! The Gate reception lady was very friendly and shared information in a very professional manner. The office staff was also friendly and helpful; however the person who did an outstanding job was Africa the game driver. He went out of his way to search for a lion on a very cold and wet morning. By the time the drive was finished he was soaking wet, but he still had a huge smile and was super friendly despite shivering and shaking! He is a great contributor to the wonderful experience of Swaziland.
The only downside of the stay over was that there were ants in the kitchen (100's of ants) but there was a can of ant killer available. Well done to all of the staff at the reserve!

I was very impressed with the assistance and understanding from Marilyn Gregg. I was also impressed when I was greeted on my name and expected and prepared for when I arrived at the gate by a very friendly lady on duty. At reception in the camp I was equally impressed by another lady who served us efficiently and very friendly and made us feel t home instantly. I wish I can remember their names but they know as I thanked them personally as well. The rondawel clean and comfortable and we really had a great experience there. We will definitely recommend Hlane to family and friends and we will come to stay with Hlane again for longer! Many thanks.

Nice cottage inside the park but you must be aware there are no facilities there. Very helpful staff: we were very late and they let us in!

We love Hlane Royal National Park. We enjoy the rustic experience whilst listening to the sounds of Africa eg. lions roaring, Scops owl & nightjars calling, impala fighting, etc.

Accommodation always spotlessly clean.

Staff were extremely friendly. Accommodation was very clean and cosy. Restaurant menu is very limited due to lack of electricity but food was good. Self drive game viewing is fun given the narrow winding roads. Three nights was enough for us but we will be back.

We have just spent the weekend at Bhubesi Camp! It was delightful. We were there for the Swazi National Swim Champs, so spent little time at the camp, which was rather sad because there was so much to see and appreciate! The cottages were comfortable and clean. We truly enjoyed our stay! Thank you!

The accommodation at Hlane Game Park was very pleasant. We had a whole Family cottage to ourselves, with ample space, clean and comfortable rooms. The staff were very friendly, helpful and the guides provided us with plenty of information. The were many animals to see up close, and what we liked the most, was the water hole right in front of our cottage.

The only 2 things that disturbed us was the noise of the generator, which was switched on 3 times daily. We had to wait for it to be switched off, to enjoy the evening sounds. It would also be helpful to have a brochure or just a piece of paper, stating the possibilities and times/prices of the game drives, walks or bicycle tours. We had to "inform" ourselves and ask at the helpdesk. We also did not know that there were dances performed in the evening, so a notice board of some kind, informing tourists of activities, would be great.
Otherwise we will definitely recommend Hlane to our friends.
Thanks for the wonderful time, away from all the stress!

The best birding ever!
Stayed at Ndlovu and the birds were everywhere; we didn't have to go out and find them. Also amazing rhino sightings at the waterhole. Suggest you make bird list available. Beautifully rustic and a few rough edges just so as we know we are in the real Africa.

Only spent 1 night on the way to Nelspruit and went on a sunrise game drive with a very knowledgeable guide. We were most impressed with him. Had a wonderful lion sighting.

Fantastic stay for three days. Pity the lion are in a separate enclosure but we saw plenty elephant, rhino and the three week old with her mom. Lots of water around so animals did not have far to move. Bubesi camp neat and clean. Staff very friendly. Well done.

I found the accommodations at Hlane to be very clean and spacious, definitely a great value. The fridge and kitchen were in perfect working order. The buffet served for dinner was delicious although the bar lacked variety in mixed drinks. I enjoyed the game drive although I think rangers should at the minimum carry tranquillizer guns for safety purposes. It also would have helped to be advised to not attempt driving on the roads with personal vehicles, as I found them very rocky and tough to drive on.

Roads in the park in very bad shape. Not suited for a car, rather a bakkie or 4X2, although a car can drive around. Also limited access to all the animals in the park. You have to join their game drive to see lions and elephants. Bhubesi camp was excellent. Will go back just for that!

It was OK - went on to Kruger and no comparison can be made. Accommodation was fine but very poor game viewing. We used it as a mid way stop and to that end it was perfect.

Ndlovu camp has recently been renovated, so whilst there is no electricity and the camp is rustic, it is modern. The food was good and the staff and their attitude even better.
Elephant and Rhino were regular visitors to the waterhole and bird sitings in and around the camp were brilliant. Great value for money.

On arrival we were greeted very warmly, shown our accommodation - a very comfortable 8 sleeper chalet. Staff are all friendly, good experience with rhino visiting us at the 2 strand fence (within 5m of us). Food basic but very good. Lovely setting with dam nearby.
