The oven did not have any numbers on the dials so it was difficult to tell how hot it was when cooking, a grater is needed in the cottage.
A pity there are no guided tours so one can experience it more "deeply". Also a pity there's no "gause" wire protection inside the windows to keep monkeys, mosquitoes and other kreepy craulies out.
All in all a wonderful experience which I'd strongly recommend to anyone - the reserve must be the most beautiful of its kind on the planet!
It is not well kept inside (fans are rusting away and dirty, the trimmings in the bathroom are broken, etc) and we did not feel that everything is as clean as it should be. With a bit of tender love and care all can be well.
The staff were friendly, the chalet fine and all in all, it was a lovely stay. We only regretted that we had only booked 2 nights. An added bonus - after 10 years in rural Africa, I had never seen a bush pig until several came rooting round our chalet one evening.
Thanks for a wonderful stay - please don't make the mistake of modernising it.
