From as little as R500, you can scuba dive \u2013 no cage required \u2013 with the ragged-tooth sharks and other magnificent predators from the South African coast in the 2-million litre I&J Predator Exhibit of the Two Oceans Aquarium<\/a>\u00a0in Cape Town’s V&A Waterfront<\/a>.<\/p>\n

This all-weather experience cannot be recreated in a natural environment.\u00a0Up close and personal, guaranteed sightings every day!<\/p>\n

Sharks at the Two Ocean Aquarium<\/p><\/div>\n

The I&J Predator Exhibit contains a collection of predators. Without a doubt, the ragged-tooth sharks are the most popular animals in the Two Oceans Aquarium and are visible through an enormous 11m-wide by 4m-high acrylic panel or semi-tunnel which hugs the perimeter of the exhibit.<\/p>\n

This exhibit also showcases an impressive collection of predatory fish from the South African south coast. These include shoals of yellowtail, garrick, dusky kob and black mussel cracker.<\/p>\n

There are several spectacular viewing points which affords visitors close encounters with the sharks, rays, a loggerhead turtle, a green sea turtle and fish.<\/p>\n

Got a scuba licence? You can dive in this exhibit. The animals in the I&J Predator Exhibit are fed daily at 15h00. Sharks are fed at 15h00 on Sundays.<\/p>\n

All divers must be qualified with a minimum Open Water 1 qualification and must present their dive card, logbook or certificate upon arrival. But, if you\u2019re not a diver yet, there\u2019s no better place to learn than with the Two Oceans Aquarium. Their resident dive master runs a scuba school where you can get your scuba licence, or do the popular one-day Discover Scuba course.<\/p>\n
