Explore the process of brewing beer at the local Gilroy\u2019s Brew House and Pub, enjoy a scrumptious tea time treat at Zest Garden Bistro, let the kids have fun in the playground or get them to join in the candle dipping and other crafts that Jock studios organize on a regular basis.<\/p>\n

Other shops to browse include Lulu Ceramics which produces decorative art works; Africotta that sells wall and floor tiles that are produced by hand; Rosewood shop filled with little delights to entice the whole family and Gillian Bickell Ceramics where you can expose the artist in yourself by decorating a ready-made piece of pottery.<\/p>\n

Shades of Ngwenya, glass blowing factory, is the hub of the Ngwenya Glass Village. It is a glass wonderland where you can watch the ancient art of glassblowing at work.<\/p>\n

All the products created are from recycled glass – approximately 500kg of glass is crushed daily and melted down in a hot furnace overnight – and include items such as table ware; glasses; vases and jugs.<\/p>\n

Ngwenya offers visitors a distinctive shopping experience in a country atmosphere with artists displaying their skills in different areas.<\/p>\n

Ngwenya Glass Village is open Tuesdays to Sundays from 9am to 4:30pm. All shops and Restaurants and closed on Mondays except Shades of Ngwenya Glass Shop. The glass shop is open 7 days a week 9am to 4:30pm<\/p>\n
