Along the rolling hills of the lower South Coast, not far from banana and cane plantations lies an area known in South Africa as the "Wild Coast". Nestled here is Villa La Mer, a beautiful getaway surrounded by the lush and tropical San Lameer golf course with stunning views of the warm Indian Ocean and fairways.
Dolphins can often be spotted from the Villa and are frequent visitors during the move of the greatest shoal on earth the famous “Sardine Run". Resident monkeys, Impala and abundant bird life adds to the natural ambience of the area.
