Unyati Safari Lodge
is situated in the beautiful Lowveld of South Africa, nestled away on a private game ranch between Kruger National Park and Swaziland you will find the Lowveld`s preferred destination for those seeking a quality safari experience, photographic opportunities, outdoor adventure or just to get away from it all.
Our authentic thatch roof lodge comprises of the main building with a lovely lounge, dining room and covered outdoor area, this opens up onto a traditional boma and bar. Three thatched air-conditioned chalets with three bedrooms each give us the flexibility to cater for individuals as well as groups or families wanting to stay together. Meticulously maintained gardens with lush green lawns and big trees lead onto a swimming pool which is an absolute must during our summer months.
The location serves as a perfect base to explore Mpumalanga as it is a mere 20 min drive to Kruger / Malelane gate, 20 min to Komatipoort / Mozambique border, half an hour from the Swaziland border and less than an hours drive from Nelspruit. It also serves as a perfect overnight venue if on route between Mozambique and South Africa. A world class golf course is within easy driving distance from the lodge along with many other activities which we will be happy to arrange for you such as game drives into the Kruger National Park, mountain biking, archery, fishing and hunting.
Accommodation at Unyati Safari Lodge:
Our comfortable accommodation consists of three luxury chalets which comprises of three rooms each, theses rooms could be made up in any configurations of double, twin or family rooms, sleeping a maximum of eighteen guests.
All rooms are air-conditioned, with private bathroom facilities, build-in cupboards, luggage racks and outdoor veranda for your personal comfort.
Each room is fitted with a coffee station and mini bar for your convenience and comes stocked with a range of high quality guest amenities. Additionally, you will not have to lift a finger throughout your stay. Our staff members are discreet and efficient and at the ready to ensure that your room remains as tidy and welcoming as you found it when you arrived.

Fishing on the Komati River Game Drives:
Unyati Safari Lodge offers game drives in the early morning and late afternoon when game viewing are most active. Game drives are conducted in open game viewing 4X4 vehicles, with excellent photographic opportunities. General plains game such as Zebra, Girraffe, Kudu, Nyala, Impala, Duiker, Warthog, Hippo and Crocodile can be expected. Morning game drives are complimented by coffee and tea, whilst afternoon drives include sun downers and snacks.

The rustic thatch facility at the main building provides for an out of office
feeling where you can experience a closer to nature conference, bosberaad
, management / strategic meeting or team build yet focus on business without any distractions. This venue can accommodate up to 40 delegates and comes with the standard conference requirements. Attention to detail and flexibility is paramount and our efficient staff will ensure that every requirement is catered for. Delegates are able to enjoy excellent gourmet meals, and traditional boma dinners. Accommodation is also available for eighteen delegates sharing luxury chalets.

Health & Climate:
Hot and humid, summer is known as the wet season, occurring from October through April. The dry and mild winter months, from May to September, are considered the dry season. It is necessary to pack warm clothing if visiting during the winter as early morning and evenings tend to be cold. During the wet summertime thunderstorms occur during most afternoons, although it rarely rains throughout the whole day.
