Twin Springs
Twin Springs is an idyllic and relaxing getaway in the heart of the Southern Drakensberg Mountains, which is away from the hustle and bustle of the city, yet close enough to all the amenities of the small towns of Underberg and Himeville.

Enjoy the tranquility of our 14 hectares of pure spring water dams and river.

All cottages are comfortably apportioned, fully equipped, and serviced from Monday to Sunday. None of the cottages have got TV or radio with the exception of Lilly, but you would have to bring your own DSTV decoder.

However each cottage is fitted with a satellite dish, please bring your own TV and decoder with relevant cords.

Enjoy nature walks that are suitable for the fit and not so fit. Try to spot the elusive birds that make those beautiful calls. Fly fish in any of our three well stock dams or enjoy horse riding into the Lesotho Mountains.

Have a picnic alongside one of the springs or streams and listen to them gurgling and chortling away. Take a tour up Sani Pass (remember your passport) or just sit and relax by the fireplace at night. See the stars at night as never seen before in the city.

Our lounges are warmed by a fireplace’s, that has been installed especially for those cold winter "berg evenings", that is so peaceful & romantic. Come and see for yourself.

During the hot summer months enjoy canoeing on one of our dams or cascading down the crystal clear Umzimkulu River. Twin Springs a place to completely relax, hang out and enjoy nature at it`s best.

Trout or Bass fishing in any of our 3 dams which are well stocked, or take a walk along our trails into the countryside. Golf can be played at the Underberg Country Club or Drakensberg Gardens Resort. Enjoy horse riding, river tubing, Canoeing, Tours into Lesotho, up Sani Pass (remember your passports for children as well!) or just relax on the veranda, stargazing. See the stars as never seen before in the city.

Everything was clean and welcoming. Log fire inside while it was raining non stop. Very cosy. Beautiful area. We will be back on our road trip next year.
