Accommodation Tintswalo at Lapalala:
Sophisticated and intimate the self-contained Tintswalo comprises of 3 spacious en-suite bedrooms located downstairs, and a fabulous master en-suite bedroom upstairs from where astounding views can be relished.
One of the downstairs double rooms also has a children`s room which shares the bathroom and together with the television room creates a private corner in the house for travelers with smaller children. One of the bedrooms is located on the outside of the house and not linked to the main entrance. This room also has an outside shower.
The house is beautifully decorated reflecting the peaceful environment, the sumptuous beds are framed with lavish net draping lending a dreamy ambiance to the stunning rooms. All rooms are air-conditioned and all necessities such as bathrobes, slippers, hairdryers, international adapters, torches and amenities are provided.
The house is also equipped with children`s books, toys and outside tables with chairs for playing around the garden. The house is fenced off with electrical fencing making it safe for little ones to explore. A pool net can be used on request for extra safety.
Tintswalo at Lapalala Activities:
Game viewing at Tintswalo takes place on foot or in individually seated open game drive vehicles. The vehicles are equipped with spot lights for night viewing, radios for communication, mosquito repellent, ponchos for wet weather and individual blankets for the night chill. A canvas bag containing binoculars, reference books and treats is also placed on each seat for your convenience. Walks in the reserve are guided through the ever changing environment of the African bush. This experience allows the guest the opportunity to come away with information on wildlife, nature enlightenment and insight into the local Shangaan traditions ~ this is only obtainable with an "on the ground" experience. All our experienced & professional guides are Field Guide Association accredited and they are always accompanied by skilled trackers who know their surroundings well. Stargaze with guides and trackers well versed in the folklore of the Shangaan people who revere the stars with the aid of a powerful Meade telescope. Private birding or photographic safari's are also available on request.

The area has a subtropical climate which lends to warm rainy summers and a dry cooler winter. The rainy season is predominantly from October through to March during which time the temperate averages a midday heat of 30 degrees.
