The Terrace
The Terrace is a quietly sophisticated Bed and Breakfast ideally located for leisure or business, in Upper Kenilworth (next to Claremont and Newlands), a select area in Cape Town’s Southern Suburbs. We are 5 minutes’ drive from Cavendish Shopping Mall in Claremont, 10 minutes from UCT, Newlands Rugby/Cricket, 15 minutes from the City Bowl and the Table Mountain cable car and 20-30 minutes from numerous, fabulous beaches. There is a great deli, a pharmacy, coffee shops and restaurants and a 7/11 convenience store just a couple of minutes walk from us!

Located on a quiet cul de sac, facing a row of historic Victorian houses with their ornate verandas and corrugated tin roofs typical of that period, The Terrace, while more contemporary, has its own wonderful charm, blending the essential “Englishness” of the area’s colonial origins with a serenity and informality that is uniquely African.

What we offer:
All the Rooms have a 32 inch flat screen television with DSTV (compact), COMPLIMENTARY WIFI, ample wardrobe space, a combination safe, hair dryer, mini-fridge and tea-making facilities. Milk, filtered water and tea/coffee are replenished daily. Bed and bath linen is of superior quality (pure cotton) and soaps, shampoo and conditioner are of the luxurious “Rain” range.

We love nothing more than for our guests to make themselves at home and the sitting room, veranda, large, salt-water pool, deck and leafy garden, are all for your enjoyment. Swimming towels are provided.

Breakfast is served in the “Conservatory” dining room or on the veranda, if it’s not breezy.
Parking (well lit) is on the street directly outside the property.

The welcoming is great and the availability to help is wonderful. Spacious and clean making the host independent. Very close to restaurants. I strongly recommend the Terrace to the visitors in Cape Town. Many thanks to you Jane
