The Kimberley Club
The Kimberley Club was founded in August 1881 by leading men of Kimberley who wanted a meeting place along the lines of London clubs. Cecil John Rhodes was the prime mover in the founding of the Club and it was the men of the diamond industry who predominated.

The Kimberley Club has seen the "comings and goings" of some of the foremost personalities in the world. It has entertained sovereigns, princes & princesses, Governors and high commissioners and has housed legendary figures whose vision and energy have pioneered new territories.

The world-famous club has received comprehensive renovation and refurbishment and the modern, well-equipped rooms resonates global trends.

The Club boasts a member's bar, lounge and dominoes room, an a-la carte restuarant, a ladies bar, 3 dining facilities, a reading room and a billiard room. It is also the ideal venue for functions, weddings and similar events.
