Nice place to stay.

Some tents are very far from ablution, which makes it difficult at night specially for older people. Needed: Bedside tables and a microwave.

We loved the tent concept and the seclusion of this satellite camp, but were disappointed with the condition of our so called "luxury" tent. The tent was very old and tired, and the fold out sleeper couch was too short even for our 9 year old and really uncomfortable. I had to chase up bed linen for it as none was supplied despite having booked for 3 people. Kitchen equipment / utensils etc were pretty inadequate compared with other camps we had stayed in.
The smaller tents with no facilities looked to be in much better condition and had lovely paved braai area etc. Much more appealing. We did notice however that the tent next to ours was being upgraded and wondered if this was the beginning of an upgrade of all the luxury tents. We hope so as we would love to return. Tamboti has great potential.

My friends and me enoyed our stay in Tamboti camp very much - it was one of the highlights of our South Africa journey!

During our travel through the park, this was the only camp where we had shared facilities and we must compliment management on the excellent - clean and neat - ablutions in the camp. The only negative I might add is that some of the tents are a bit too far from the ablutions, we saw quite a few campers who opted to drive to the toilets & kitchen. But overall, a very nice camp to stay in and well priced.
