Stanford Heights River House offers guests a tranquil getaway and a relaxing stay in a stunning 4-bedroom designer home with African touches on a sleepy street in the quaint village of Stanford.
The lovely multi-storey home has lots of light, wood ceilings, wood floors, industrial railings and an open staircase. The rooms are furnished with comfortable extra-large King beds, making use of 4 bathrooms fitted with baths and showers. For convenience, linen and towels are provided.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge, freezer, microwave, gas stove, oven, dishwasher, tea and coffee-making facilities, as well as cutlery and crockery, and meals can be enjoyed at the dining table. Guests can relax in the cosy lounge which offers a TV with Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, Netflix and a wood-burning fireplace. Wi-Fi is available, and guests have the use of a study for any type of work.
Yoda the cat, also resides on the premises. The living area opens on a large stoep with lovely views of the surroundings and river.
Braai facilities and a children’s play area are available for use. Stanford Heights River House has a 5-kilowatt battery and inverter to cruise over loadshedding, and parking is available.
Peaceful and largely unaffected by change, Stanford is an eclectic mix of shops, galleries, restaurants and coffee shops, and the list of activities for a largely rural village exceeds one’s expectations. Like many of the Overberg towns, Stanford originated as a farm, de Kleine Rivers Valey, and the tree-lined streets today, filled with historical buildings, are testimony to the largely English influence that makes Stanford the third most historically important village in the Western Cape. The town offers various restaurants and coffee shops, Saturday markets, local wine farms and hiking trails to explore.
The multi-storey home offers 4 rooms with extra-large double beds and 4 bathrooms with baths and showers. The kitchen has a gas stove, and dishwasher. The lounge has a fireplace, TV , Wi-Fi and opens onto the stoep.

* Please be aware that there is a open staircase children have to be supervised at all times as well as the elderly have to be made aware of the staircase. But there are 3 bedrooms downstairs to accommodate the elderly or children
* Smoking is not allowed in the house.
* Regrettably, pets cannot be accommodated.
* Quiet hours are observed from 22h00 to 08h00.
* Loud music, parties, noise, or functions are not allowed on the premises.
* Guest visitors are not permitted.
* The garage is not included in the rental.
Children aged between 0 and 18 pay 100% of the sharing rate.
