Our accommodation consists of charming thatched chalets situated apart from the main Lodge and all have views overlooking the Lake.
All the chalets have en-suite bathrooms, one can choose between family cottages (sleeping 4) or smaller chalets sleeping 2.
Also available are self-catering chalets, with each chalet having a fully equipped kitchenette as well as braai facilities on the deck outside.
In keeping with the idea of escaping city life, one will not find a television or phones in the room, however both these services are available in the main Lodge, in addition to fax and e-mail.
Our country restaurant is fully licensed, and we served full breakfasts daily as well as a 3-course home-style country meal in the evening.
Throughout the day, once can choose a light meal from our light lunch and snack menu.

Health & Climate:
Winters are usually mild during the day, but can reach 0 degrees late at night or early morning.
Our winters usually stretch from May- September, although May can also be a very pleasant and mild month.
September is the beginning of Spring and summer usually arrives in full force from the beginning of October.
October is renowned for being the hottest month of the year, so dont forget the hat and suncreen!
Another consideration to take into account is the fact that our rainy season is during our summer months, usually beginning from November through to March, with November and February being the wettest months.
