Master bedroom with queen size bed and build in cupboards. Shower and toilet en suite. Fans, hairdryer. Build in safe for valuables.
Spacious second bedroom, with double bed. There is also a 2nd television, wall heater, fan, hairdryer etc.
Third bedroom, carpeted with two single beds and cupboards.
Large kitchen with stove, oven, microwave, oven fridge/freezer, crockery, cutlery, etc. Dish cloths supplied. Wooden deck furnished with outdoor furniture. Paved patio with table and benches, build in braai (barbeque) facilities.
Small garden with wonderful bird life.
All linen and bedding (duvets) provided.
Prospect Cottage Activities:
Excellent whale watching from the Knysna Heads during the winter months.
Splendid walks in the forests nearby. Fishing in the lagoon. Boat trips to Featherbed Nature Reserve from the Waterfront.
Knysna offers a wealth of craft shops, artists, bars and restaurants catering for the discerning diner.
It is world famous for its oysters.
The scenery is idyllic and the view from Prospect Cottage is breathtaking.
Visit the ghost town of Millwood, site of a gold rush in 1866. Near by are the beaches of Noetzie with its romantic castles and super surfing at Buffalo Bay.
Nearby are Plettenberg Bay, Sedgefield, The Wilderness and all the Garden Route has to offer.

Knysna has a mild temperate climate all year round. Summer temperatures can reach the high 30's while winter temperatures average 14 degrees in the winter, making Knysna an ideal all year round destination.
Our stay at Prospect Cottage was enjoyable both in than that cottage was convenient, clean and functional as well as the location was just what we had hoped for.

3 Wooden cottages, situated in a large garden with abundant birdlife. All the cottages have a lovely view over the lagoon. One cottage has 2 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms, and looks right into the Knysna Heads.
