Phokeng Gardens Bed and Breakfast is a beautiful bungalow set in a garden that lies 3 km from the city center. The Guest House also has two small semi-detached self-catering flats. The accommodation is highly suitable for small teams of work crews, professionals or tourists looking for short and or long term stays.
A large lounge is available if you have company or if you need to entertain your guests. Special arrangements can be made for self-catering, otherwise there are lots of restaurants in town. There is a popular outside sitting area with a braai outside for unwinding after a long day.
Maseru is the capital of Lesotho and is located on the Caledon River bordering South Africa. Phokeng is only 5km from the main city center. Maseru now boasts 2 new modern malls where you can do your shopping and for other services as well. Lesotho`s main attractions are the Afri-ski Resort, the Katse Dam and the Maluti Mountains.
The Setsoto Stadium, which hosts many soccer tournaments, is also just a short drive away.
Accommodation at Phokeng Gardens Bed and Breakfast:
The bed and breakfast rooms have comfortable beds and DSTVs in each room. There is a spacious modern kitchen where your meals are prepared. Each room has either bath/shower or a shower.
We have either a double, queen or twin three quarter beds in each room. Each room has a desk which is ideal working on the computer. We have limited wifi available for personal communicationns. Airtime can be purchased nearby. Otherwise there are many internet cafe`s in town. For extensive use of wifi such as downloading games or moovies, guests may purchase own data.
The rooms are fully serviced and cleaned on a daily basis and arrangements for ironing and laundry can be made.

In Maseru East you can visit 2 primary schools if you are interested in observing primary education.
Tour guides can be arranged on as needed basis to the TY town which specializes in mohair tapestries. Other nearby attractions could be a visit to the royal village of Matsieng which is one hour away and or a visit to the Morija Museum which is close to Matsieng.
