Pezulu Tree House Game Lodge is a small, exclusive, owner run Tree House Game Lodge situated in the Limpopo province of South Africa, only forty minutes from Kruger National Park. It is the ideal place to escape from todays hectic world and enjoy the tranquillity of the unspoilt African bush. Pezulu an unforgettable, unique bush experience.

The Lodge
The thatched main building of the lodge is entwined around a large Marula tree. It consists of a cosy lounge with pool table, dining area, reception with curio shop and a charming treetop bar.

The magnificent rock swimming pool is the perfect place to cool off during hot summer days. Relax on our comfortable pool lounges and hammocks.

Enjoy a sun downer from our superb lookout point while watching the African sunset over the stunning northern Drakensberg mountains. Or simply have a drink in the bar and reflect on the day passed in front of a blazing fire.

A delicious 3 course dinner (mix of South African and Continental) is served under the stars around a log fire in our beautiful boma. On request we organise private candle light dinners to celebrate a special event.

Sitting 7m high in a Jackal berry tree, our tallest tree house is fit for royalty. Be warned - with incredible views, luxurious finishes and absolute tranquility, you may not want to leave your room!

Dream Tree House Sleeps 2
This prestige, luxurious canopy dwelling interweaves with two growing Marula trees. Its the epitome of an African paradise.

- Summer (Oct-April): Light neutral coloured clothing, warm clothing for game drives.
- Winter (May to Sept): Light neutral clothing for day wear, very warm clothing for evening/early morning also a warm insulated jacket for game drives.

Cancellation Policy:
If a booking is cancelled, a percentage fee based on the tariff will be retained as follows:
- No cancellation fee if cancelled more than 4 months in advance
- 10% cancellation fee if cancelled between 4 and 3 months in advance
- 20% cancellation fee if cancelled between 3 and 2 months in advance
- 25% cancellation fee if cancelled between 2 and 1 month in advance
- 35% cancellation fee if cancelled between 29 and 21 days in advance
- 50% cancellation fee if cancelled less than 21 days in advance
- 100% cancellation fee if cancelled less than 14 days prior to arrival

Pezulu Tree House Game Lodge is a Game Lodge in Thornybush Game Reserve Limpopo South Africa

By road:
From Johannesburg proceed along the N4 passing Witbank and Middelburg.
Turn left onto the R540 at Belfast. >From Belfast proceed to Dullstroom and then Lydenburg.

From Lydenburg take the R36 to Ohrigstad. Stay on this road passing through the Strijdom tunnel. Keep going on this road until you see the signs to Swadini / Orpen.

Turn right here and proceed for 32km on this road.
Turn left at sign to Orpen gate, continue for 4 km and turn left at Guernsey sign. Drive for 8.5 km and turn right at sign to Guernsey Private Nature Reserve.

By Air:
Nearest Airport is Eastgate about forty minutes from Pezulu. S.A. Express has scheduled daily flights from Johannesburg International Airport and Cape Town Airport. Transfers can be arranged on request.

We have enjoyed our stay at Pezulu. We loved our tree house. We can recommend that the curio shop maybe stock snacks and ice cream for in between breakfast and high tea. Thank you for the staff who treated us like VIP's.

Had a fantastic time there, the staff are really friendly and spoilt us for our 1st year anniversary. They are well organized and really look after their guests. We stayed in the Dream Tree house and it was stunning, enjoyed every minute of it, only too short, would love to go back soon!!

The first thing that one experiences is the tranquillity of Pezulu Tree House Lodge. For me, it was just perfect to unwind. The tree house experience was really great, very different to other places I've been to. Overall, a great stay & experience.
