Nestled on Glenmore Beach direct on the sea front, Palmer’s Rock offers one of the best relaxing holidays on the South Coast. Situated along a spectacular seafront, guests have a lovely breaker view of the warm Indian Ocean only 50 metres from the large sea facing deck.
Accommodation is provided in the main house and a cottage.
The house has solar panels that generates power to make guests’ stay as comfortable as possible. The holiday home offers accommodation for 6 persons and comprises 3 bedrooms. The kitchen is equipped with a stove and oven, a fridge, microwave, coffee- and tea-making facilities, crockery and cutlery. The lounge has comfortable seating where guests can relax together. It also offers a lovely deck with breathtaking views and braai facilities. Guests could also spot whales during season, or dolphins playing in the waves. There is a gas braai on the deck. To prevent sparks from a wood fire from damaging the furniture or deck should the wind blow in that direction, a wood braai is offered next to the house. A safe braai area will be designated.
The cottage is not suitable for children or pets. The cottage offers accommodation for 4 adults and has 2 bedrooms. The kitchen is equipped with an oven, a stove, a fridge, a dishwasher, a microwave, kettle, utensils, cutlery and crockery. There is a coffee station and drinking cabinet in the lounge. The lounge has leather couches where guests can relax. There is a smart TV. The dining room also has a beautiful view of the sea and rocks. A lovely covered, semi-sheltered braai room with comfortable seating offers guests a gas braai as well as a built-in braai and a small basin. At an additional rate, a cleaner can be organised for weekdays.
Cleaners are not available on weekends or over public holidays. Guests can bring their own DStv decoder, board games, books or technological entertainment along.

PALMER’S ROCK HOUSE: Children and pets are more than welcome as long as pets do not sleep on any furniture and the owner cleans up after then on a daily basis.
PALMER’S ROCK COTTAGE: Not ideal for children as it has an uncovered pool.
