It is a great way to get away from it all and relax. You have all the convenience of a caravan on water. It's comfortable and caters to all your basic needs.

This is my second trip and we will definitely be doing this again.

We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will definitely do it again. From the moment one arrives to the time one leaves one feels safe, comfortable and cared for. It was a pity that we could not see the sun-set because of the weather.

The only gripe we had was that the petrol issue was not properly explained to us or perhaps misunderstood by us, what we understood was that you get the boat with two tanks of 25L of petrol and only pay R250.00 for any extra that you might need.

Thanks for the experience.

From Johannesburg: Take the N1 South (Bloemfontein). Go through the Grasmere Toll Plaza, and look out for the Vanderbijlpark / Sasolburg Offramp. Follow this road until it crosses the Vaal River (you will go through a stop street and three sets of robots).

Immediately after crossing the river, take the Vaalpark offramp. Turn Right back across the highway, and go past JJ Bricks on your left hand side. Take the first tar road to your left, just before the mine dump. Follow this road for 6,5Km until you see a house on the right hand side of the road, and a cellphone tower on the left hand side.

Turn left onto the dirt road just before the house on the right. Turn left immediately, and turn into the third gate on the right (thatch gate post).
