Set in gardens bordered by the beautiful White Waters River, Numbela provides an oasis of relaxation and calm within easy reach of Kruger National Park and the attractions of the Blyde River Canyon

Numbela offers self contained, detached cottages, beautifully and comprehensively furnished. Whether you are interested in a quick visit or a base for an exploring holiday, you will find Numbela a comfortable and peaceful place to stay.

Numbela is small, but beautifully formed. Each cottage (there are three at present) is fully detached, self contained and private. The cottages and the owner's house are contained within 7 acres of garden alongside the river. Numbela is bordered by a farm and surrounded by forestry, giving ample scope for walking in the area.

River Cottage is a charming, beautifully furnished luxury thatched cottage. With one double bedroom, and one occasional single (mezzanine), it would suit either a single person, a couple, or a couple with an older child very well.

Yellowwood Cottage is an old farm cottage with a nice verandah, renovated to a very high standard. This cottage is a '2+2'. Set in its own private area, Yellowwood is as comfortable as it gets.

The Tin House is a Pilgrim's Rest style property with four individually decorated twin rooms ensuite, a huge living area with an open fire and DVD/CD player and a full kitchen. Perfect for groups wishing to socialise.

All our cottages are available on a self catering basis and are fully equipped for you to prepare your own meals or there are a number of good restaurants in the area which we can book on your behalf.

Awesome location and thoroughly enjoyed our short stay...

Loved the facilities, we thought the decor was beautifully done and extremely creative. The hosts were warm and welcoming and very supportive during our long and delayed trip. We would certainly want to stay again, for longer next time. We only used the facility for a very short time but the impression was lasting.

Beautiful setting, gorgeous cottage, delicious breakfast and warm welcome. Thank you. Just felt we didn't have enough time to make the most of it.
