We received a very warm welcome after a long hot day on the road. All the staff were superb during our short stay.

It would be nice if the restuarant was open in the evening. And a jetty available for patrons. Otherwise real friendly staff. We had a superb stay.

Our stay at the Pond was great. Our first room were definitely not what we thought it would be. The next day we requested another room which was better situated with more view and space. This room did not have enough packing space but overall perfect. We really enjoyed staying there. Breakfast and meals were great and parking was safe and the security gave us peace of mind. The manager was great - right from the start - called back - responded promptly to email and his personal attention together with the friendly staff won us over from going to other place than the Pond. Great fun! I will no hesitate, but use The Pond when travelling or overnight in Port Alfred.
