You`ll find Maguga Lodge in the heart of the Hhohho region in Swaziland and is ideally situated for proximity to the Kruger National Park as well as Mpumalanga Province and Mozambique. Overlooking the shimmering waters of Maguga Dam, the lodge offers the discerning traveler a tranquil retreat.

On offer is stunning accommodation, restaurant and bar, conferencing facilities; weddings and functions venue.

Dining
Dining at Maguga Lodge is an epicurean delight. The striking Lapa Restaurant offers a diverse a la carte menu, aimed at tantalizing those taste buds. On Sundays the atmospheric restaurant comes alive with a delectable buffet lunch.

Conferencing:
Maguga Lodge offers multifunctional conferencing facilities with 3 venues designed to cater for your groups individual needs.

The Main Conference Centre can seat up to 300 delegates Cinematic Style.

In addition, Maguga Lodge also offers 2 Private Dining rooms, housing 10 and 15 delegates respectively. These are ideal for board meetings; workshops as well as Management Retreats. All our venues are equipped with standard conference equipment.

Weddings & Functions:
Maguga Lodge is the quintessential venue for a destination wedding or function. The remoteness of the venue in Northern Swaziland ensures exclusivity.

Rooms:

The lodge offers well appointed accommodation in the form of Rondavel chalets.

All of the 35 units are air-conditioned, with an en-suite shower and tea/coffee making facilities. The decor is bright, colorful and contemporary, offset by the warm wood of the furniture and 'sleeper' floors.

Each of the rooms has its own semi private patio, the perfect vantage point to soak in the beautiful vista of the dam and surrounding hills; or for those bird lovers, to catch a glimpse of a fish eagle going about his business.

Maguga Lodge Activities:

Maguga Dam is fast becoming a buzz word in the Bass Fishing fraternity. Several fish species are found in the Dam which making it ideal for artificial lure angling.

For the adventure seekers, neighbouring Enkhaba Adventures offers the following activities: quad-biking, para-gliding, hiking, abseiling and canoeing. And for those who are not predisposed to adrenaline pumping through their veins, the bird life is rich and varied.

Maguga Lodge is the ideal stop-over to exploring Northern Swaziland. The acclaimed Ngwenya Glass factory is within 30 minutes drive. The Peak Fine Craft Centre in Piggs Peak offers wares from Likhweti Kraft, Coral Stephens Hand Weaving, and Tinsaba Crafts.

We were very satisfied with our stay at Maguga Lodge. The service was excellent and very friendly and the rooms beautiful and very clean. The food was also very good and of high standard. I will gladly recommend you to my friends.
