Maggie May House Boat is a beautiful old rustic house boat on the Sunday`s River, only 5 minutes from Addo Elephant National Park.

There is a double bed in the main room and a couch/king size bed which is made up in the lounge/kitchen upon request and a tent on the roof if required.

The boat is moored on our jetty during your stay, we can arrange other moorings up or down river at an extra charge per hour cruising time.

Canoes are available on request to paddle in the river for a fee.

Accommodation on the Maggie May House Boat:
The Maggie May house boat is the biggest house boat on the Sunday`s River and is over 10 meters long and 5 meters wide. There is one bedroom with a sliding door and a couch next door which folds into a king size bed. Spare mattresses are also in the boat for those who want their own bed.

There is a 2 man tent for the upper deck if there is not enough space in the cabin. The space is comfortable for 4 people and is ideal for 2 people.

The toilet is very small for many people and some might need to use the toilet and shower up at the house. The boat is moored next to our jetty which is close to the highway so there could be some noise but mostly it`s quiet.

Activities:

We offer Safaris into Addo Elephant National Park, half or full day tours and Sea Safaris (1,5 hours), Sandboarding (2 or 3 hours) and River Cruise (1,5 or 2,5 hour) adventures.

Experience the unique Alexandria Coastal Dune field which stretches for a distance of fifty kilometers.
