Activities within the Marloth Park region:
Full Day Panoramic tours
This is a full day tour of the beautiful Blyde River Canyon; the third largest canyon in the world. Along the canyon are spectacular views of the Lowveld plains and countless waterfalls.
Stops along the way are:
Hoedspruit is home to a few of South Africa's best animal rehabilitation facilities. You are able to view some of South Africa's wildlife such as cheetah, wild dog, lions, black-footed cats, African wild cats, ground hornbills, Sable antelope and much more in an up close and personal manner. Guests can also have an unforgettable experience where you can touch, feed, and even ride an elephant; the largest of South Africa’s animals. Early morning elephant-back safaris are a must for a real "out of Africa" experience.
If you want to get up close and personal with Lion, Leopard, Serval, Lynx, Honey Badger, Eagles, Vultures, Wild Dogs and any baby animals that they may have at the time of your visit, then this is an experience that is a must for you. Experience golf the South African way. The Kambaku Komatipoort Golf club offers a nine hole course that is both challenging and picturesque. The golf course is on the edge of the Crocodile River, which separates it from the Kruger National Park, and it is surrounded by the magnificent Lebombo Mountain Range rising in the distance. The Big Five are often seen while you enjoy your game of golf, and impala regularly wander onto the course.
