Indulge yourself with an early evening aperitif before dining at one of the many restaurants in the village, or a night-cap on your return in our fully licenced bar, which offers a good variety of local wines, beers & cigars.
Franschhoek is ideally located for exploring the Western Cape with it`s breathtaking scenery and winelands, and being only 45 minutes by car to Cape Town and its international airport.

The Franschhoek valley offers all visitors an amazing variety of activities and experiences from the sheer enjoyment of the breathtaking scenery to fly fishing, horse riding, wine tasting and of course, world renowned restaurants.
We are happy to make table reservations for you at any restaurant of your choice. Please note that in season restaurants can book up weeks in advance, so early bookings are essential.
Le Ballon Rouge offers a variety of accommodation, each with it's own individual style and character, ranging from standard doubles and twins to superior rooms featuring queen sized beds with percale linen, luxury bathrooms and air-conditioning.
All rooms are appointed with television and private telephone lines.
We are happy to arrange airport transfers to and from Cape Town International Airport.
