Despite securing a confirmed booking over a year in advance, we arrived to find Lalapanzi had been given over to a family reunion, and we were relocated to Leopards Corner nearby. We had carefully chosen Lalapanzi because of its setting, backing onto the reserve. Leopards Corner, while a quality place, lacked character, was unstaffed, and its setting was a corner lot in the midst of neighbourhood houses. We have no doubt Lalapanzi is a lovely place. Just be sure - how, I don't know - that they honour their commitment and provide you the accommodation they promised.
