La Paix Guesthouse

La Paix Guest House is situated in a quiet neighbourhood in Beaufort West, 600 meters from the main road (N1), with the Nieuveld mountain range north of the Heart of the Central Karoo, birthplace of the heart transplant pioneer, Dr Christiaan Barnard.

La Paix offers a luxurious atmosphere with chique farmstyle interior decoration in a peaceful, tree-filled garden which offers the tired traveler an opportunity to switch off and sit back, while observing the variety of bird species present. Green lawns provide space for children to play.

Maxie Kritizinger has been the owner and hostess of this establishment for the past 13 years and has developed an entire network of friends from this enterprise.

There are 5 en-suite rooms and 2 rooms, sharing a bathroom. The latter serves as a family unit which can host 6 people.

Accommodation at La Paix Guesthouse:
All rooms contain air-conditioning (hot and cold), a television with DSTV (guest house option), a hairdryer, small fridge, bed radio, electric blanket and tea and coffee-making facilities.

Each room is also equipped with a tray with complimentary tea, coffee, sugar, fresh milk and rusks. Soap, shampoo/shower gel and tissues are also provided.

A fully equipped central kitchen is available for the preparation of own meals, especially for guests who have to stay for longer periods.

Braai facilities include everything which guests might possibly need.

Each room is provided with its own control key for secure on-site parking (in the shade) behind electric safety gates. One of the rooms has easy wheelchair access.

Small household animals are allowed. Free WiFi is available.
