Our typical African safari styled rondavels are beautifully constructed and tastfully decorated to blend in with the charm and serenity of the surrounding bush.
Our rondavels are set apart, allowing for secluded views of the unspoilt bush, exclusive designed to reflect the cool calmness in the heat of the African bush. Double beds with classic draped mosquito nets grace every room.
The rondavels are fully safari styled furnished and have their own en-suite bathroom, air conditioning, insect gauze on all the windows and a private terrace to relax.
Accommodation includes: en-suite rondavel accommodation, breakfast, lunch, diner, tea and coffee.
Accommodation excludes: all beverages, gate entrance fees, transfers, activities.
Our Africa safari lodge has multiple rondavels which blend in with the charm and serenity of the surrounding bush. The interior of the lodges feels luxurious and is fully safari styled. All of the rondavels have an en-suite bathroom and air conditioning. A private terrace is placed at the front of your Africa safari lodge. One of our rondavels is wheelchair accessible and has modifications in the bathroom to make it suitable for disabled guests.
This cancellation policy is subject to change. It applies in all instances. I you cancel your booking the following costs will be applicable;
- Cancellation prior to paying deposit no costs
- Cancellation with more than 4 weeks notice 10% of the total quoted price is forfeit
- Cancellation with more than 2 weeks notice 50% of the total quoted price is forfeit
- Cancellation with less than 2 weeks notice 90% of the total quoted price is forfeit
After your booking has been confirmed, should you wish to change to another date, you may do so subject to availability, costs may occur.
Ku Sungula is located in the Balule Game Reserve close to Hoedspruit in the Limpopo province. From Johannesburg take the N12 to eMalahleni (Witbank), here it becomes the N4. Follow the N4 till Belfast. At Belfast take the R540 towards Dulstroom and Lydenburg. In Lydenburg follow the R36 leading to Ohrigstad. From Ohrigstad take the R527 to Hoedspruit. In Hoedspruit follow the road to a 4 way stop, where you turn left on to the R40 to Phalaborwa. After 16 km you will see the sign “Balule, Olifants West Gate”, you turn right here and enter the reserve.
Inside the reserve turn left onto Maroela Road. Follow this road, first alongside the fence then turning right into the reserve. After about 4 km you are at a crossing where you turn right into Sable Road. After 1 km you will see the Ku Sungula sign on your right hand side.
