With reasonable rates, Klitz-Gras Chalets is an ideal stopover for those visiting the Kruger National Park, The Potholes, Gods Window, and many more tourist attractions in the beautiful Mpumalanga Meander.

We welcome bikers, with our fully serviced stone chalets, and our wooden cabins will accommodate you in the true African spirit.

Our chalets contain room for five or six persons respectively, with single and double bathroom facilities. All chalets are self catering, and have been equipped with kitchenettes.

Selected satellite television channels are also available.

Situated on the bank of a large dam, with wide open spaces, green grasses and invigorating fresh air! Enjoy a sundowner on your own private wooden deck watching the sun set behind the beautiful Steenkampsberg, have a barbeque braai, or try your luck catching a Carp, blackbass, catfish of trout on booked day trips to several farms in the area.

The chalets overlook a natural valley abundant with bird species,with several rare species spotted by avid birdwatchers, and exotic wild flowers a feast for the eye.

The Klitz-gras chapel is a thatched stone building surrounded by 2 dams, bushveld and wetlands with breathtaking views. Our intimate chapel with it`s stained glass windows, can accommodate up to 50 guests for your special day. It can also be used for christening, renewing your wows, functions and launches, birthday parties, or just for a peaceful moment of spiritual contemplation.

Cancellation Policy:
VENUE: 100%, You will forfeit your deposit with cancellation.

ACCOMMODATION: 15% Admin fee for cancellations.
100% Cancellation fee if cancellation occurs 5 days or less prior to arrival.
Late arrivals and early departures for confirmed reservations will be charged in full.

Directions:

From Johannesburg and Pretoria :
- Take the N12 or the N4 to Witbank and onwards towards Nelspruit and exit the highway at the turnoff to Belfast. ( 63 km from Middelburg).

- At the 3rd 4-way stop in Belfast, turn right right at the Dullstroom signboard. Continue straight through Dullstroom towards Lydenburg, and at the 1st T-junction, turn left into Lydenburg. Klitzgras Chalets find directly on your left-hand side next to big dam.

Everything we needed for the stay over. Soft bedding. The music from a nearby restaurant was a bit noisy and the road from Machado was bad but the resort nice and comfortable.
