The three en-suite rooms are beautifully furnished in contemporary African style. There is television,

There is a spacious, fully self contained garden cottage, separate from the main house. It has a double bedroom ,a twin bedroom and two sleeper couches in the living area, bath / shower room and a fully fitted kitchen.
Breakfast at Impangele is very special. There is so much choice and everything is fresh, tasty and home prepared, from the jams and muffins to the fresh seasonal fruit salad, local cheeses and meats, freshly squeezed orange juice, and the wonderful English Breakfast platter. When the weather permits you will be sitting out on the deck under the shade of grapevine, as you gaze at the majestic Langeberg mountains.

Impangele is minutes walk from the Swellendam Golf Course, the start of the Marloth Mountain Nature trail, the Faerie Sanctuary and Wildebraam Berry and Liqueur Estate.
We work closely with a qualified game ranger and tour guide, who offers daily tours to Bontebok Park, as well as wine tasting, De Hoop, Tradouw Pass, the Klein Karoo, and other wonderful excursions.
For something really different, you can book Beauty, our Xhosa housekeeper to cook you a traditional Xhosa meal - 24 hours notice is needed for this as she needs to soak the samp and beans!
We arrange horse trekking in the mountains at all levels, and there are wonderful opportunities for mountain biking if you bring your own bike!
And after all this exhausting activity, come back to Impangele and cool down in the plunge pool, cleverly constructed from an old water storage tower.
Take the main road, Voortrek Street, through Swellendam.
Andrew Whyte Street is the turning off between the Nursery and the Milestone Coffee House, and Impangele is the blue house on the right, at the end of the tarred road.
The quirky fun Zebra room, with its en-suite wet -room, is a lovely bright spacious room, with a very comfortable queen sized bed. This room has been designed to ensure that disabled visitors can enjoy their stay - there is plenty of room for wheelchairs, and the contrasting colour scheme is of benefit to those with visual impairment - and the TV has a large screen too.
This is a huge room - the spacious environment, beautiful polished oregon pine floors and gorgeous safari style en-suite shower room all create a unique atmosphere and a touch of African luxury. The room is big enough for a family of four to sleep in comfort - but a couple can luxuriate in the space, and lounge around in the leopard bathrobes provided!
The Giraffe Room
A lovely sunny twin bedded room with en-suite bathroom - it has its own TV and DVD with a selection of films. Ideal for business travellers or friends travelling together.
The Garden Cottage
Situated in the garden of Impangele Guest house, the cottage has one double room, a twin bedded room, and 2 sleeper couches in the living area. It has a kitchen, bathroom with bath and overhead shower. A private back door opens onto the patio, garden and the braai area, There are beautiful views and lots of little extras to make your stay a pleasant one. All bed-linen, towels and toiletries are supplied. The price does not include breakfast, and all the equipment you need to prepare breakfast is there. We also offer a delicious breakfast in the main house at ZAR 50 per person, to be served whenever you choose. The cottage appeals to adults and children alike, there is a TV, Playstation, CD Player, books and games to keep you amused if the weather is poor.
