Activities:

Impangele is minutes walk from the Swellendam Golf Course, the start of the Marloth Mountain Nature trail, the Faerie Sanctuary and Wildebraam Berry and Liqueur Estate.
We work closely with a qualified game ranger and tour guide, who offers daily tours to Bontebok Park, as well as wine tasting, De Hoop, Tradouw Pass, the Klein Karoo, and other wonderful excursions.
For something really different, you can book Beauty, our Xhosa housekeeper to cook you a traditional Xhosa meal - 24 hours notice is needed for this as she needs to soak the samp and beans!
We arrange horse trekking in the mountains at all levels, and there are wonderful opportunities for mountain biking if you bring your own bike!
And after all this exhausting activity, come back to Impangele and cool down in the plunge pool, cleverly constructed from an old water storage tower.

Very good and quiet location, self catering accommodation very well equipped.

We really enjoyed our short stay at Impangele: The owners make you feel at home, the house is nice and cosy and clean. The rooms are spacy, very nice and beautifully furnished and decorated (with lots of love). Amanda lit us a fire in a room with two nice sofas we appreciated very much since it was a cold winter night. We are happy to recommend this establishment to those seeking a comfortable B&B in Swellendam.

Very clean and comfortable self catering accommodation for a quick overnight stay. Also very good value. Swellendam is a lot prettier than we expected and the location of this venue (close to the nature reserve) gives it an advantage over all the B&B's on the main road.

We had a wonderful weekend at Impangele, from the minute we arrived we felt welcome, Amanda and David are fantastic hosts, the place was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was out of this world. I would definitely recommend Impangele to others. And we will go again.

It was a very old house and the owners has bought it 2 years ago and they need time to renovate the whole place. Nevertheless, we enjoyed our stay with David and Amanda because they are very helpful and very nice!
