Holkrans Guest Lodge
is conveniently situated on a farm on the N8, 70 km between Griekwastad and Groblershoop en route to Kgalagadi, Augrabies Falls, Namibia, and Namaqualand. Nestled in the Kalahari dunes between mountains contributes to an unforgettable visit, an establishment where the whole family can relax in affordable luxury.
Accommodation at Holkrans Guest Lodge:
Accommodation comprises of 3 units that can accommodate a total of 8 guests. The units featured include the Provincial Suite, The Vintage Suite and the Queen Room.
The spacious 42sqm Provincial Suite is a thatched family unit decorated in a French country-style and can accommodate 4 guests. It is located in the garden of the main house and is fully en-suite and equipped with a kitchenette.
The Vintage Suite is a freestanding 30 sqm King/twin-bed suite with a full en-suite bathroom, located in the garden at the main house and is elegantly decorated with Vintage furniture with decor that reflects yester years luxury.
The Queen room can accommodate 2 guests and can be connected to the Provincial Suite to form a convenient two room extended family apartment. This room has a window view of the garden and private back entrance that leads to the garden.
All suites are equipped with absolute luxury and have private entrances, en-suite bathrooms, hairdryers, satellite television, all season air conditioners and exquisite amenities to make each guest’s visit exceptional and comfortable.
At the main house, guests are welcome to relax on warm, sunny afternoons in the lush garden and refresh themselves in the Sundowner pool. Enjoy a wholesome portion of freshly prepared home-cooked dinner and/or breakfast in the Garden Dining room. In winter time you can relax in the communal room in front of the old wood burn stove.
Self-catering or braai facilities are available at the Dining room or at each unit.
Holkrans Guest Lodge Activities:
Guests can walk around on the farm, and a special treat is the hike to the 'Koppie'. In summertime, everyone loves to cool off in the pool. A fire pit in wintertime enhances the ambience of your Kalahari visit.

Guests can walk around on the farm, thus a pair of walking shoes is advisable, as well as hiking boots for the mountains.
