Hands On Retreat is a Stay Spa and boutique Guest House in Craighall close to the Sandton / Hyde Park hub.

It’s back to nature here: the setting is a park-like garden with flowing lawn, abundant bird life, lots of tall trees and its own river flowing through it. We have an on site spa for individuel, half day, full day and sleep over pampers

Guests have access to both sides of the river to enjoy the abundant bird life, to meditate or to just relax and enjoy nature at one of the many rest spots are dotted around the garden.

Weather permitting, refreshments are served on the outdoor veranda with its spectacular view.

Our speciality is couples. We offer anniversary and romantic breakaway and themed weekend packages transporting you away from the hustle and bustle of city life. C

The park-like 4000 m² private garden that surrounds the facilities of the Hands On Retreat Stay Spa and Guest House has many tranquil spots for meditation and rest.

Enjoy the tall trees all around you, the views of the river and the rolling lawn area. Secure parking with your own remote control for independent access.

Hands On Retreat Spa Treatments
The treatment rooms are set in the garden and blend with the natural surroundings. Here our guests are treated to our signature massage and healing treatments, consultations and coaching in private.

Our professional Psychologists, Biokineticists, Dieticians, Life Coaches are part of the different packages on offer and may also be consulted on an individual basis.

Our inspired treatments rejuvenate the tired body and mind and are tailor made to suit the individual and couple.

The Apart Hotel is a popular Brazilian concept – it’s both a hotel room and an apartment with a kitchenette.

Guests may choose to cater for themselves using the microwave oven, refrigerator and other conveniences. We also cater for lunches and dinners by arrangement.

We have six Apart-hotel units available, each with its own private garden entrance; en-suite bathroom with bath and shower; and kitchenette with granite top, refrigerator and microwave oven.

All our rooms have extra length and depth queen sized beds with Wi-Fi access in all rooms and patios, underfloor heating and flat screen TV with 14 satellite channels.

Tea and coffee making facilities are provided in each unit. Continental breakfast will be served to your room.

The Premium Units feature double sized Jacuzzi baths and double shower – ideal for that special anniversary, wedding and honeymoon.

We encourage our guests to make use if the lounge, verandah and patio areas.
