From Johannesburg/Pretoria - scenic route (4 hours):
Take N12 or N4 Highway respectively to Witbank and then follow N4 Highway to the Belfast turnoff. Take the off-ramp and head into Belfast, then right, following signs to Dullstroom. Pass through Dullstroom and carry on to the T-junction, turning left to Lydenburg.
In Lydenburg, turn right following signs to Sabie over the Long Tom Pass (the highest tar road in South Africa). In Sabie turn right and follow directions as above.
Take the R536 to Hazyview. Just before Hazyview (with the Sabi River Sun on your left) you will reach a T-junction. Turn right to Hazyview.
Go straight over the next stop street and continue to the traffic lights. This is the main junction in the town. Carry straight on, in the direction of White River on the R40. Cross the next traffic lights and travel just over 2km (over 2 3-way stops), then turn right towards White River.
The entrance to Hamilton Parks is 15km from Hazyview on the left hand side. A good, 3 kilometre-long road leads you from the R40 to the lodge.
