The historic town of Piet Retief straddles the N2 in the south eastern corner of Mpumalanga, close to the borders of Swaziland and Kwazulu Natal.

Staff was very pleasant and helpful. The gardens and setting is peaceful. The accomodation was neat, clean and comfortable. Response to our enquiry was attended to speedily. Breakfast was excellent.

We stayed there on our trip to South/East only one night. The room was clean, the stuff was kindly, we felt us save. Sometimes a little bit noisy from trucks on the street. For this night we where satisfied.

The place was very lovely and neat and tidy. It is also within walking distance of shops. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful stay.
