Pilanesberg Game Reserve is situated on the eroded remains of an extinct alkaline volcanic crater - one of only three in the world.

Accommodation within Pilanesberg National Park
Manyane Resort is nestled at the Gateway to the Pilanesberg. Set in unspoilt natural surroundings are thatched African-style chalets studded in a tapestry of indigenous flora - a mere one and a half hours to two hours drive from the hustle and bustle of Gauteng.
Self-catering chalets have en-suite bathrooms, air-conditioning, centrally situated pool and playground. All chalets have a private patio and braai area. Chalets consist of four bed permutations. Meals are offered at the restaurant.
The 2 bed studio chalets are all without a kitchen. Chalets consist of two single beds with bathroom. Small fridge with kettle, cups and glasses all available for 2 adults. Crockery and cutlery required if you want to self-cater. Maximum 2 persons per chalet.
Safari Tents consists of 2 single beds only. Communal ablution is available when staying in the safari tents. Maximum 2 persons per tent.
At the foot of the Garamoga hill lies the Bakgatla Resort which consists of unique colonial-styled chalets complemented by rolling lawns and a well positioned olympic-size swimming pool.
Self-contained chalets have one bathroom, air conditioning, a private patio and braai area and a central playground. Chalets sleep a maximum of 5 people.
Executive Safari Tents are equipped with twin/double beds and can accommodate only 2 persons.

Pilanesberg Travel Information
Children from 7 years will be regarded as adults and will be charged accordingly.
Children between 3 and 6 years stay at no charge and pay R85.00 per child for breakfast only or R195.00 per child for breakfast and dinner.
