Fern Glen Self-Catering accommodation has something to meet your needs, whether for business or leisure. We have 6 fully equipped units, sleeping a total of 20 persons, situated on a secure one acre residential stand, with ample secure covered parking. Each unit has an kitchen or kitchenette and bathroom, a hairdryer, Safe, Iron and ironing board, DSTV, high-speed WIFI and a choice of twin or a king-size bed. There is a laundry for personal use on the premises. We have lovely gardens with an abundance of birdlife. The rich foliage of the trees creates a natural sound buffer which results in a peaceful and quiet environment. Randburg CBD is nearby, with Sandton just beyond and the Strydom Industrial Park just minutes away. The N1 highway, The Dome and Sandton Convention Centre are all easily accessible. We have a Shopping centre in a walking distance of 500m with a variety of excellent restaurants and 2 supermarkets, plus 4 large malls within a 10km radius. For the tourist wild life is just 10km away. No smoking is allowed inside any unit but you may smoke outside. Units are serviced Monday to Fridays except public holidays.

Cancellation Policy:
* On cancellation, a 10% handling fee is charged. * The full deposit less the handling fee is refunded, if the booking is cancelled 4 weeks before the arrival date. * Half of the deposit is refunded if the booking is cancelled 2 weeks before the arrival date. * No refund of deposit if the booking is cancelled less than 14 days before the arrival date. Full payment is required for "no shows" or early exit.

Directions:

You will approach Randburg on the N1 heading towards Pretoria or heading towards Roodepoort as the N1 is a ring road around Johannesburg and suburbs.

N1 heading towards Pretoria:
Take the exit offramp (Malibongwe R512) turn towards Strydom Park turn right Cross over the Highway and at the 5th traffic light take the slip road left.

N1 heading towards Roodepoort:
Take the exit offramp (malibongwe R512) turn towards Strydom Park don't cross the Highway just turn left) and at the 5th traffic light take the slip road left. Land Marks of the 5 traffic lights to make sure your'e on track 1st traffic light - The highway 2nd traffic light - VW dealer on left 3rd traffic light - Garage on left 4th Traffic light - Rocky Rd on left (Home World Centre) 5th Traffic light - Oxford Rd - take the slip road left Travel through 2 traffic lights (West and Eton) At the 4-way stop turn left. We are the 1st gateway on the left (NOT the dust road). There is a green and white signboard for FERN GLEN on the wall.

2 x 2 Sleeper self-catering units (approx. 25 m2)

(Apartment/Studio/)

Each unit consists of one large room and a bathroom with shower. Apartment has a bath with shower over bath. They have twin beds, a lounge/dining area and a kitchenette, which is fully equipped with an under counter fridge, microwave and an induction hotplate. The units are fully equipped for self-catering.


The Cabin - Sleeps 4 (approx. 40 m2)

The Cabin is a 4-sleeper unit with one bedroom, bathroom with shower and larger Lounge/Dining area/Kitchenette. The bedroom has twin beds and the lounge area has two couches/day-beds, which can become 2 single beds. The kitchenette has an under counter fridge, 2-plate hob and a microwave. The unit is fully equipped for self-catering.

The Suite - Sleeps 5 (approx. 70 m2)

The Suite is a 5-sleeper unit with one bedroom, and spacious Lounge/Dining area. The bathroom has a bath with shower overhead. The bedroom has twin beds with additional twin beds adjacent to the dining area and a single bed behind the lounge. It has a full kitchen with a family sized fridge/freezer, 4-plate hob, microwave and an electric frying pan. There is a thatched covered area with BBQ adjacent to the building which overlooks a small garden. The unit is fully equipped for self-catering.

The Cottage Sleeps 5 (approx. 70 m2)

The Cottage is a unit with two bedrooms, one bathroom with shower, a lounge/dining area and a full kitchen. The main bedroom has a double bed and the large 2nd bedroom has 3 single beds. The kitchen has a family sized fridge/freezer, 2-plate hob, microwave and an electric frying pan. There is a large covered patio with BBQ/ Weber braai off the 2nd bedroom which overlooks the spacious back garden. There is a large covered area with BBQ adjacent to the building which overlooks a spacious garden.


The Suite - Apartment Inter-leading - Sleeps 6 (approx. 95 m2)

The Suite- Apartment is two units that inter-lead. It then has two bedrooms, two bathrooms with bath and shower over the baths, a lounge/dining area and a full kitchen. The main bedroom has 2 twin beds (or a king-size bed with mattress converter on request) and the 2nd bedroom has 2 twin beds and there are an additional 2 twin beds adjacent to the dining area. The kitchen has a family sized fridge/freezer, 4-plate hob, microwave and an electric frying pan. There is a thatched covered area with BBQ adjacent to the building which overlooks a small garden.
