Die Rots offers beautiful mountain views from the deck, relaxed serene atmosphere and abundant birdlife. You might see a Purple Crested Loerie or a Paradise Flycatcher or even hear some owls at night.
Some small game is present on the farm eg. Duiker (Red and Grey), Bushbuck, Bushpigs, Genet, Jackal ( you might be lucky to see our resident hippos )
A sparkling swimming pool is available as well as a Lapa. Other facilities include safe & secure parking, DStv in the lounge and internet facilities.

Schoemanskloof is an area of undisturbed natural beauty that is just not to be missed.
Ideal to use as a base to explore most of the main Lowveld tourist attractions like the Sabie waterfalls, Sudwala caves, Lowveld Botanical Gardens, Gods window, Pilgrims Rest, Kaapse Hoop etc.
Hiking trails, quad bikes, 4 x4 routes and horseriding are nearby. Visits to a crocodile farm can be arranged.
There is excellent fishing in this area.

The Elandsriver Marathon, Crocodile Cano Marathon, Mankele MTB racetrack. and Sabie cycling events
From Johannesburg or Pretoria make way to Witbank. From there follow the N4, pass Middelburg, Belfast, Machadodorp till you get the MachadoTollgate. Just after the Tollgate you take the road to Nelspruit via Schoemanskloof, we are approximate 52 kilometers from this turnoff. Some pointers along the way are De Beersnek, Patatanek,Schoemanskloof winkel, Joubert and Sons Citrus farm and packhouse. We are approximate 2 kilometers from the Joubert Farmstall situated on the righthand side, an ordinary farmgate with a large piece of rock on gumpoles at the entrance. Follow the farmroad over the river to the house.
Five luxury en-suite rooms (bath and shower), each with own private entrance from the deck - 3 doublebed rooms and 2 twinbed rooms. Towels are supplied.
Tea/Coffee making facilities in each bedroom and 24/7 in the lapa. We serve a hearty farm breakfast in the dining room or on the deck.
