From the moment we arrived we found Crab Apple Cottages a magical place. The hosts, Berand and Helen were gracious and nothing was too much trouble. Privacy, quiet and back to nature was just what we needed. The gardens were a delight to explore as was the Forest and the Chapel. The cottage itself was decorated to the highest degree and comfort, warmth and relaxation were upper most. The dogs, cats, chickens, birds and magnificent horses all added to the charm of this wonderful oasis. Set in a wonderful area where you can explore and visit lots of country outlets and enjoy meanders across the Midlands. We hope to return. Many thanks for a memorable time.

The cottage was beautiful and they spared no expense in making it warm and cosy. Underfloor heating, electric blanket , bathroom heater , heated towel rail, fire place etc. The kitchen was very well equipped - it even had a pair of scissors. Most self catering places always neglect to provide a pair of scissors. Sadly we were there for only one night. We wished we'd booked for longer.
