Accommodation at Blue Mountain Luxury Lodge: Manor House (Villa)
Idyllically positioned between the mirrored lake and indigenous forestry of Blue Mountain Lodge the ochre-washed Manor House is the newest addition to this ultimate experience of leisure and luxury which has become a legend in itself. The Manor House rise from manicured lawns and surrounding lush forests. The same attention to detail and classical interiors for which Blue Mountain Lodge is renowned, complement the warmth and service offered to our discerning guests. Stone fireplaces reminiscent of historical chateaux and the finest of furnishings enhance the luxury and elegance of the sitting and dining area, flanked by romantically appointed bedrooms (two suites in each Manor) and marbled bathrooms. One can enjoy the outdoor tranquility of the deep-set pillared verandas or escape to the solitude of the polished Mahogany and leather clad study. A wooden deck offers spectacular views as the private swimming pool cascades to the lake below. Ballentine (Presidential Suit)
The Ballentine suite or “The Presidential Suite” embraces a classical regency style. This suite uncovers an elegantly furnished spacious lounge and majestic bedroom. A private plunge pool silently glistens over luscious forestry.
There are 4 Victorian Suites all housing king-sized, extra length beds except for Suite number 8, which has two three-quarter beds. All suites and rooms have been individually decorated. The furniture, except antiques, has been designed by Valma Muir and custom-made for the Blue Mountain Lodge, making our decor unique in South Africa. Lounge and bedroom combined, bathroom and separate toilet. Each suite is individually decorated with elegant furnishings. Freestanding slipper bath or roll-top bath, custom-made shower. Delicately set at the foot of the main building, as a sparkling fountain ushers its guests to havens of relaxation.

The Quadrants Suites are four suites romantically set in a cobbled courtyard, with gallery bedrooms reminiscent of castles and Camelot. These duplex rooms have a lounge, bathroom with separate bath, shower and toilet downstairs and a gallery bedroom upstairs. The style is Provencal, overlooking forestry.
Blue Mountain Luxury Lodge Activities:
The main complex comprises a reception, elegant restaurant and bar with a competition size billiard table. With prior notice, the Blue Mountain Lodge can arrange treatments on the premises. These include facials, body massages, manicures etc.
Mpumalanga is one of the most scenic areas of South Africa. Blue Mountain Lodge is in close proximity to the Kruger National Park, private game lodges, Blyde River Canyon, Pilgrims’s Rest, Bourkes Luck Potholes, etc. – affording our guests the opportunity to explore the surrounding area without having to travel great distances.
Beautiful walking routes are available on the two hundred hectares of indigenous bush, forestry and farmland but further walking trails are found within short driving distances along the Panorama Route. Chauffeur or Self-Drive in air-conditioned mini bus vehicles, on panoramic sightseeing trips or excursions into the Kruger National Park or private game lodges.
