Bergzicht takes its name from its spectacular position high on Table Mountain, affording it wrap around views of the city bowl and the famous flat top.

And retreat you can. Bergzicht features many areas in which to enjoy the quiet nd tranquility from poolside to lush lawns, a thatched entertainment area, the cosy lounge or the original dining room with its themed 18th century frieze, created for the estate`s first owner over 100 years ago.

At the same time, guests are a mere 10 minutes from the popular Waterfront and prime beaches like Clifton and Camps Bay, as well as the attractions of the city itself.

Breakfast a little poor, fresh cheese could be an idea, rooms very clean, the view phantastic, the staff very kindly, we had a very nice stay during three days at this guesthouse, also a lot of informations are given to the tourist , what tours to book around capetown

TV were not working and place was very noisy especially at night (streets). Catherine was an absolute delight.
