Nice and quiet and the room was really big with everything I needed. From the hairdryer to the hottie I needed to heat up my cold toes. If I visit Pietermaritzburg again, I will certainly check in here again.

What an experience. Hosts are wonderful, warm and friendly. Room absolutely beautiful and warmed up before I arrived. Food Yummy! Referring everyone that I know to Babbling Brook B&B. In all my travels around South Africa this was the best ever. Keep up the good work.

Our stay at Babbling Brook was unforgettable. As frequent travellers, we have stayed in many guesthouses and hotels in South Africa over the past ten years. My family was unanimous to say this was the most welcoming and agreeable place we have stayed in to date. Gordon and Morag were the kindest hotel people we ever met. They were not smiling because it was part of their work contract. It's was not just because they own the business: they love to serve others. We felt it and we felt at home. This charming, unhurried and peaceful couple would really run the extra mile to make our stay comfortable. The rooms were so nicely and artfully decorated. With trees and bushes all around, and birds that sang just what we needed to feel uplifted, we just forgot for a few days the buzz and confinement of large cities. Thanks Gordon. Thanks Morag.
