Avalone Guest House consists of two independent neighboring houses. Both houses offer you 5 luxurious bedrooms, all air-conditioned rooms and with private bathrooms.
From each room there is direct access to a private terrace in the beautiful tropical garden. From both gardens there is direct access to the Nature Reserve.
We also have a lovely suite available among other things with two bathrooms. Each house has a swimming pool, a well-assorted bar and TV-lounge with satellite receiver.

Our tropical garden is bordering the nature reserve. You often have the chance to see different species of the wildlife. The pictures shows the illusive bush buck nearby our pool area.
St. Lucia is considered the leading Eco-tourist experience in South Africa and the area offers a wealth of activities. Therefore we suggest that you spend a minimum of 3-6 days to encounter some of the scenic sites and many activities of the St. Lucia region.
There is many well qualified tour guides available which one can hire for one or more days for a very reasonable price. Game viewing tours for "The Big Five" in the nearby game park is one of the favorites among our guests.
Snorkeling, hiking and fishing is just a few of the activities that are possible. Whale and turtle watching is possible at certain times of year.
Take the N2 from Durban/Johannesburg.
Turn off at the R618 to Mtubatuba & follow the signs to St Lucia (25km). On arriving in St Lucia, cross the bridge over the estuary & turn left at the T-junction(McKenzie Str.).
Turn immediately right into Beach Road (sign posted).
Continue down to Kingfisher Street.
Turn right and immediately left into Garrick Ave - name changes into Sandpiper Street.
Proceed to the corner numbers 15-17 Sandpiper Street.
