Aloe View Rock Lodge is a beautiful, tranquil lodge set amongst breathtaking scenery on a 1000 hectare game farm, just outside Hluhluwe, In Northern Kwa Zulu Natal.
The lodge is surrounded by Aloe Marlothii, which is a striking aloe found mainly in mountainous areas and Aloe View Rock forms part of the Lebombo Mountain Range.
Two rivers form part of its boundary, the Mzinene River to the East and the Mhlosinga River to the North.
The farm has a wonderful history and is known for its beautiful rock cliffs where baboon are regularly seen. Other wildlife one can encounter are nyala, impala, warthog, red and grey duiker, leopard, hyena, crocodile and hippo.
Aloe View Rock Lodge has been built with the rock found on the farm, each spacious bedroom is en-suite and the lodge can accommodate up to 10 guests.
The lodge is small and intimate and offers visitors and guests a wonderful backdrop to explore Zululand and the Elephant Coast or just relax around the sparkling view and admire the breathtaking view.

We have five spacious double en-suite rooms, all equiped with, air conditioners, hair dryers, ottoman, guest amenities and tea and coffee making facilities.
The main room has 2 x 3/4 beds and the second room has 3x 3/4 beds and forms part of the small lounge. The unit is perfect for mom, dad and 3 kids. The unit has a bathroom that has a shower, basin and toilet. Unit also has a Kitchen.
Travel north on the N2 towards Pongola.
Take the Southern Maputaland / Phinda off ramp
Turn right over the N2 - At T-Junction turn right and continue for about 4 km
Turn left onto Ngweni Road - Over railway line ( P476 )
Continue Approx 5km, passing Zulu Nyala Gate
Turn left just after Zulu Nyala - Sign posted ALOE VIEW
