Aandkoor Guesthouse Activities:

Located within the breathtaking Kogelberg Biosphere reserve, Betty's Bay is approximately an hours drive from Cape Town. The lake and surrounding area are home to a rare species of micro frog as well as the more common varieties.

Whale watching is a popular pastime along the coastline and during the season (August to December) numerous sightings can be made from Gordon's Bay through to the world renowned Hermanus viewpoint which is only a thirty minute drive away.

The only land based colony of African penguins is located at Stony Point (part of the marine reserve) a mere fifteen minutes walk from the guesthouse.

Those interested in sand skiing (sand boarding) will find the imposing Hangklip dune a daunting challenge.

The Harold Porter National Botanical Gardens the heart of the Kogelberg Biosphere Nature Reserve is one of only 7 national gardens in the country. One can spend many hours wandering through the flora and vegetation.
