Marianne always dreamed of starting her own eco-friendly luxury guesthouse and conference centre, and in 2004 found the ideal location in the tranquil paradise of Irene in Centurion. It took a further four years to make the necessary changes and investments before she was happy to open her doors.
Local businesses are becoming increasingly aware of the need to support eco-friendly green businesses in Centurion and Pretoria.
Centurion is well known for the high quality of its residential and social infrastructure, and the growth in eco-friendly green awareness in all local schools and businesses has been tremendous in the last few years, resulting in 42onKing Centurion Guest House and Luxury B&B accommodation being in ever greater demand across Centurion and Pretoria.
Irene, now over 108 years old, has a small country village atmosphere, with unique stone walls and tree-lined streets.
Various excellent restaurants, shopping malls, golf courses and Rietvlei conservancy area all within a 10 minute drive from us.
Typical highveld weather with hot days and afternoon thunderstorms in summer from September to April. Winter days are mild but nights are cold from May to August.

This is a luxury unit with a king/queen size four-poster bed, en-suite bathroom with corner bath and shower, lounge area with sofa and comfortable chairs, workstation, flat screen television with Netflix, kitchenette, microwave oven, fridge, espresso machine and tea making facilities.

We have 3 standard rooms with double/queen/king bed, en-suite bathroom with shower, workstation, flat screen television with Netflix, mini bar fridge, coffee and tea making facilities. Communal area with microwave oven etc for limited self catering.
All units are serviced daily and there is free wi-fi available everywhere.

- Failure of the guest to arrive will result in the loss of all monies paid to date
- Cancellations made 0 to 7 days prior to the confirmed arrival date will result in 100% of the deposit paid
- Cancellations made 8 to 14 days prior to the confirmed arrival date will result 50% of the deposit paid
- On receipt of a written instruction to cancel the reservation, including bank details, we will refund the applicable amount within 5 working days
From the N1 Freeway: Take the Botha Avenue off ramp. Turn onto Botha Avenue in the direction of Irene. Turn right into Alexandra Road, left into Queen Street, left into Wellington Road and right into Krige Lane. Greenlea is situated at number 41 Krige Lane, in the second block on the left hand side.
From the R21 Freeway (OR Tambo airport): Take the Nellmapius/Irene offramp. Turn left onto Nellmapius Drive. Follow Nellmapius - go over the Main Road crossing (after going under the railway) and turn right into King Street. Turn left into Pioneer Street and right again into Krige Lane. Greenlea is situated at number 41 Krige Lane, in the second block on the right hand side.
