Wedged between Namibia and the Kalahari Gemsbok Park is the farm, Pulai. This is desert, the home of the Gemsbok, the dream of the hunter, the thrill of the 4x4 enthusiast. Stretching away to a shimmering horizon are great waves of red sand dunes, dotted here and there by camel thorn trees and sparse vegetation.

The circular 200 km long trail offers exhilarating dune driving and scenic views of the farm.

This is desert, the home of the Gemsbock, the dream of the hunter, the thrill of the 4x4 enthusiast Stretching away to .a shimmering horizon are great waves of red sand dunes, dotted here and there by camel thorn and sparse vegetation clinging to the side of the dunes. A good gravel road takes the traveller over undulating dunes, past huge salt pans to the farm Pulai the real Kalahari by 4x4 trail.

Deflating the tyres not only ensures a comfortable ride, but it preserves the sand track.

Wildlife and Vegetation
Gemsbok, Kudu, Spring-bok and a number of smaller game may be seen. However, the animals are scarce during the hunting season. This is also the habitat of the bat-eared fox, black-backed jackal and most of the raptors frequent the trail. Camel thorn and witgat trees are scattered with tufts of short bushman grass covering the straights between the dunes.
